What we offer
A community-based resource
serving older adults, age 45 and older throughout South
Hampton Roads; Adult Day Services offers a warm and friendly
environment for those who need special assistance or
supervision.
This state licensed, community-based program is a resource
for the families of those older or frail adults who are
in need of special assistance or supervision. The following
is a list of some of the services provided.
- Nursing Services that
include administration and supervision of medication
in compliance with physician’s
orders.
- Health Maintenance
Services including: quarterly
assessments, hypertension screening, nutrition, weight
monitoring, and health education.
- Assistance
with personal care and other activities
of daily living.
- Fitness Programs such as exercise, walking, and active
games which prevent secondary disabilities resulting
from inactivity.
- Opportunities for positive social interaction and
mental stimulation: dances, parties, entertainment,
and one-on-one discussions.
- Individualized
Care Plans designed to promote participant’s
highest level of independent functioning.
- Therapies Offered: physical, occupational and speech
by arrangement.
- Medicaid Waiver, Veterans Administration
and Long Term Care Insurance accepted.

8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Affordable Respite Services:
• Allows caregivers to continue employment.
• Prevents or delays
placement in an institution.
• Reduces family
stress and fear.
